Ishaq Imruh Bakari is a film maker and writer born in St Kitts& Nevis. He currently teaches Film Studies at the University of Winchester. This is a book about emigration and immigration , racism and resistance, slavery and freedom. In this book of poems he addresses head-on the experience of African-Caribbean migration, for himself and for millions who constitute the African Diaspora around the world.
