Join us for an interactive story telling session with legendary singer; Lurine Cato and Hollywood actor; Nonso Anozie bringing stories to life in their own unique styles.

Lurine & Nonso will read a selection of children’s books and sing songs in this captivating and exclusive session.

This is a children’s event, but adult supervision is required. ALL attendee’s must purchase a ticket. Proceeds will be donated to charity.


London based Gospel singer/songwriter Lurine Cato remains one of the most sought after independent vocal artists with that rare ability to appeal to a wide variety of audiences. Her distinctive brand of music is infused with inspirational undertones of faith, hope and love, a central theme to the material she writes that resonates with an eclectic mix of music lovers. A 2013 MOBO Award recipient (Best Gospel Act) and 2017 MOBO nominee (Best Gospel Act), Lurine was a featured act at the 2017 MOBO Awards held in Leeds, UK with the B Positive Choir who are Britain’s Got Talent 2018 finalists. Also appearing at the 2017 MOBOs were Cardi B, Stormzy and Idris Elba.

Having worked in the industry for a number of years as a backing vocalist, session singer and artist in her own right, Lurine has worked with some of the industries’ top luminaries such as Mary J Blige, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Adele, Enrique Iglesias, Andrea Bocelli, Sigma and Susan Boyle as well as Gospel Music’s most successful artists such as Kirk Franklin, Kim Burrell and Donnie McClurkin. Her career has led her to perform for a number of high profiled events and venues such as the Princess Diana Award (St. James’ Palace), Althorp (Global Gift Foundation), Royal Festival Hall, Lambeth Palace, Manchester United Stadium (Dreams Come True Charity), Madison Square Garden (w/ Kylie Minogue), MTV TRL, London Palladium (Royal Variety Performance), Saturday Night Live (w/ Kylie Minogue, USA), Jay Leno (w/ Kylie Minogue), lead vocalist Perfect Day Single (Children In Need), X-Factor, BGT (Session Singer), Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, Westminster Abbey and Edinburgh Festival etc.


Nonso Anozie's film and television career includes leading roles in Academy Award-nominated and BAFTA-winning productions. Most recently, he appeared in ‘Cinderella’, directed by Kenneth Branagh. His other film credits include ‘Atonement’, ’Happy Go Lucky’, ‘Conan the Barbarian’, ‘The Grey’, ‘Brighton Rock’, Guy Ritchie's ‘RocknRolla’, ‘Cass’, ‘The Last Legion’, ‘Ender's Game’ and ‘Jack Ryan - Shadow Recruit’. 

Anozie's television credits include ‘Occupation’, ‘Stolen’, and a major guest role as Xaro Xhoan Daxos in ‘Game of Thrones’. He played Samson in the Emmy Award-nominated series ‘The Bible’, for the History Channel, and appeared in ‘Dracula’ for Sky NBC.

Additionally, his distinctive voice has been included in many different commercials and video games worldwide. Trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, Anozie's theatre career has taken him to major cities all over the world. Upon graduating in 2002, he became the youngest person in history to play "King Lear" for the Royal Shakespeare Company. He then played opposite Kenneth Branagh as the Prisoner in "Edmond" at the National Theatre. Nonso won worldwide acclaim as the title role in Cheek by Jowl's world tour of "Othello." He also played the lead in "Death and the King's Horseman" at the National.
